Berks Jazz Festival

The Berks Jazz Fest, held in Reading PA., was founded in 1991 by the Berks Arts Council. The Council has been promoting the arts in Berks County since 1969.
Since 1991, the Berks Arts Council has been offering the very best in jazz and blues during the annual Berks Jazz Fest. It has developed into one of the biggest jazz festivals in the United States and this year, 2011, celebrated it’s 21st annual running with over 130 events.
For ten days in March of each year, fans are treated to top-notch performances at various venues throughout Berks County. Some of the biggest names in music have performed at the event which sees fans arrive from New York, New Jersey, Maryland, and other states along the eastern seaboard.
Past performers include Dave Koz, Najee, Nelson Rangell, Spyro Gyra, The Rippingtons, and many more.
